COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – An Air Academy High School band coach is facing charges of sexual exploitation of a child after he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says David Hurd was arrested in Aurora on Friday.
The sheriff’s office says Hurd was involved with multiple marching band activities throughout the country as a consultant and choreographer.
No attorney was listed for Hurd in Colorado online court records.
